Busy Busy Busy...

Had to put a side today to update my blog as ive had other hand in's due in recently.

I Recently met up with a man named 'Nikk Sanderson' who has been in the Industry of Special effects for over 20 years based in Sheffield. Nikk has worked with making prosthetic props as well as prosthetic pieces for films. I went to his house and actually learnt from him. Nikk taught me how to create a mask using casts of faces/hands/items of interest, then sculpt up features with a type of pliable clay material to then mix up a moulding agent to make a negative of the mask to then put the positive and the negative together to use the mid way space to create a mask that would sit on the face of the talent, while keeping the texture and time spent into making the sculpted features.
